and coming local artists.

Keelan Mak

There’s a contrast to Keelan Mak – a push and pull between melancholy and enlightenment, breaking apart into tiny explosions of sound and feeling. An ethereal dreamscape, where song is melded with consciousness in his fragile form of expression.

Emerging from Brisbane, Keelan’s music is a smoky, sultry mixture of himself and the inner city. He is inspired by the art and artists that make up this fast-paced and evolving metropolis. Combining the blissful song writing of James Blake with the atmospheric production of Tora, Keelan Mak seamlessly blends indie and electronic music to create a unique artistry in the music industry landscape.

2017 saw a career progression for Keelan Mak. He released his second single, SKB to success on Soundcloud and Triple J Unearthed and held his only headline show at The Foundry, which saw 100+ attendees celebrate his single. He was also in the studio writing with notable artists, such as Maribelle, Fossa Beats, Jo Loewenthal (Tora), and New Zealand production duo, SACHI.

Keelan Mak’s debut EP, released in the latter half of 2018, will transport you to places rarely visited, but will quickly become your addiction.

Sarah Hogan

Indie folk pop songstress Sarah Hogan is proof that raw talent and honest song writing is alive and well. An emotive performer, Sarah’s unique style often compels her audiences to reflect upon their own personal journey as she performs with the skill of a folk veteran well beyond her years.

Her poetry flows with an artisan’s ease, steeped in a sense that something is going on beyond face value (Happy Mag 2017)

2017 was a big year with the release of Sarah’s debut single ‘Young’ recorded with James North of James North Productions. Closely followed by a string of shows including a set at Big Sound; Australia’s leading new music festival and industry conference along side well known acts such as The Tesky Brothers, IV League and British India.

A regular performer in her home town of Ipswich, Sarah has seduced crowds from stages such as Studio 188, Goleby’s Basement, The Arena, The Milk Factory and the Brightside. Sarah’s set to release her follow up single in 2018 so keep your eyes and ears out; this songstress will captivate you.
