Genevieve is a vocalist and composer with a diverse repertoire traversing jazz standards, traditional blues music and contemporary styles. She is currently in her final year at the Queensland Conservatorium and has been under the guidance of teachers Dr Irene Bartlett, Elly Hoyt and Kristin Berardi.
Over her years of study, Genevieve has cultivated her vocal technique and refined her own unique musical creativity. This shines through in performance, where she demonstrates honest storytelling, wearing her heart on her sleeve and inviting the audience in with her genuine sense of connection. Genevieve’s musical style is inspired by leading Jazz ladies Sarah Vaughan, Nancy Wilson and Irene Kral.
