SPARK Ipswich presents Waghorn To West, Ipswich’s first multi-venue indie live music crawl.
16 artists across 8 sessions will take over 4 live music venues along Brisbane Street in Ipswich (between Waghorn and West Streets) to bring you one epic night of indie live music.
Experience the best of what the Queensland music scene has to offer alongside some of Ipswich’s most exciting up and coming musicians at Circa 160, Goleby’s Basement, Ipswich Central Hotel and Studio 188.

Sahara Beck
Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, Sahara Beck has earned a reputation as an arresting performer with a voice like no other.
She has toured with the likes of The Rubens, Bishop Briggs and Ball Park Music and graced Festival stages such as Bluesfest, The Falls Music & Arts Festival, Adelaide Fringe and Woodford Folk Festival.
In 2019 she placed 3rd in the prestigious Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition for her track “Here We Go Again” and had multiple placings in the International Songwriting Competition and the Nashville based Unsigned Find.
She has won numerous Queensland Music Awards and recently won the Carol Lloyd Award – affording Sahara the opportunity to record an album with Konstantin Kersting.
Brooke Austen
Brooke Austen is a singer-songwriter based in Brisbane, Australia. Her soulful, vocal-led tunes weave the sounds of the city with the feel of a small town.
Compared to artists like Mia Wray, Meg Mac and Sara Bareilles, she’ll draw you in and won’t let you leave until you’ve heard what she has to say.
