Evan Osborne enjoys sharing music of all styles with those around him regardless of the occasion or instrument. Some past experiences of this include: touring with Brisbane Brass as a featured soloist to perform in the Beijing International Music Festival; competing in State and National contests in the brass band and as a soloist; presenting an educational tour around central Queensland as part of Queensland Youth Orchestra; and managing his function band Phat Sauce who have entertained in local clubs and bars, as well as being hired for weddings and parties.
Evan is currently studying at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University under internationally renowned musician and composer, Andrew McNaughton. Mostly working as session musician for small gigs around local venues on trumpet and bass, he has recently been known to make appearances at the Brisbane Jazz Club as a soloist with the Con-Artists Big Band and as part of the Enthusiastic Musicians Orchestra and the Brisbane Big Band.
In 2018, he is keen to keep performing on stage, playing for theatre productions and is excited to be teaching music in schools around Brisbane.
