The SWEETHEARTS OF SONG, Kathleen Watts, Carolyn King, Maree Lansdown and Susie Walker came together 2015 for the purposes of a Remembrance Day concert at Esk’s RSL. Singing songs from the War years in the style of the Andrews Sisters, Vera Lyn and others proved so popular that the Sweethearts of Song became a ‘girl group’ in demand for further performances in and around the Brisbane Valley and Lockyer Valley Regions.

Adding to their repertoire the harmonious sounds of groups such as The Shirelles, the Poni-Tails, The Supremes, ABBA along with the power and soul of performers like Aretha Franklin, they have had audiences dancing both on the inside and out and with a night of light hearted laughter and swingin’ songs from the decades, will again be certain to have concert-goers at Studio 188 positively, absolutely in the mood and wanting more.
