✰ STARRING ✰

The Beagles | Reanna Shard | Ladee Records | Srishti Chhaya

Ipswich Unearthed shines the spotlight on emerging talent from the Ipswich region and allows opportunity for the next up-and-coming artists to grace the stage in a laid-back and supportive environment.

All Ages | Licenced Venue

The Beagles

The Beagles are a four piece pop/rock band who made their debut at the recent Westside Christian College Battle of the Bands – winning first place.

A group of boys who love hanging around each other playing around with different covers and working hard to find ways to tell stories through music.  With Josiah keeping the beat, Byron flailing away on the keyboard, Elijah slapping the bass and Ethan pulling the strings, you won’t be able to do anything other than tap your toes and clap your hands as they perform for you on the night.

OTG (Prev. Ladee Records)

Formally known as LADEE RECORDS, Evie, Rhetta and Tinashe the Great made their debut at the recent Westside Christian College Battle of the Bands – winning second place.

They decided to change their name to OTG – or Out the Gates – and add Alex on the bass.  Uunder the mentorship of their favourite music teacher Mr Hayden Wilcox, September 18 will be their debut performance.

Playing a series of covers which you may or may not recognise from the original, as they seek to mash them up and give them a fresh sound, you’ll enjoy the rawness and enthusiasm of these talented musicians and one day when they’re famous, we hope you’ll remember that you were there the night they made their debut performance.

Reanna Shard

At 13 years of age, Reanna Shard is making waves in the world of country music.

Creating a strong foundation for performance through classical vocal exams and eisteddfods, Reanna found her true country calling at the age of 10 and hasn’t looked back since.

Reanna’s exposure to the world of country music at Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2020 lead to making connections with the legendary Gina Jeffreys with whom she has recently recorded 2 of her original songs.

Reanna currently writes about the world around her, particularly around growing up in the modern world and the social pressures that come with it. She is excited to continue songwriting with the new life experiences she gains.

Reanna has plans to release her 2 recorded tracks in the near future, but in the meantime, you can catch her at Studio 188’s Ipswich Unearthed on September 18.

Srishti Chhaya

Emerging from a classically trained background, 17-year-old Srishti Chhaya is looking to combine her raw sound with a modern uptake on soul.

With big inspirations such as Whitney Houston, and newly formed idols like SZA, Srishti’s transition from vocal competitions and jazz clubs to her RnB/Soul project is one to keep your eye on. Her characteristic use of riffs and runs accentuates the emotion she is looking to convey through her songwriting.

Srishti is beginning her songwriting journey with the goal of connecting with producers and eventually hearing her own voice on the radio.

Although Srishti’s professional music career is in its initial stages, she is well on her way to great opportunities in the near future.

Catch her at her Ipswich Unearthed performance on September 18.
